Independence Weekend - With the Statue of Liberty and
four simultaneous fireworks shows, this is our biggest weekend of the year, we plan a big
party on the Light ship with every slip filled. |
July 17-19 |
Power Squadron Weekend - The New Jersey chapter
will have their annual cruise and meeting at LLM. We will provide a welcoming party on the
ship and cater a picnic and breakfast each day. |

Sept. 4-7 |
Labor Day Weekend - Our second biggest weekend of the
year and we will plan picnics and other activities with the Park and the Science Center. |
Sept. 10-13 |
Super Boat Race - We're in our third year as the pit
area for the Superboats on the Hudson River. Every go-fast boat within 100 miles will be
here for the race. We are paid by the promoter for use of the marina and are able to
provide other services such as pit parties on the Light ship each night. |
Sept. 15-20 |
Cigna/Knickerbocker Cup - In cooperation with
Cigna, the sponsor, and the Knickerbocker Yacht Club, this international sailing series
will be coming to LLM for the third year. Come see the best sailors in the world as they
prepare for the America's Cup. |
Sept. 18-20 |
32nd Annual Mayor's Cup Race - Race for Schooners
and Classic Yachts. |
Sept. 19-20 |
Maritime Festival - In cooperation with the Park, the
city of Jersey City and the Liberty Science Center, the festival includes: antique
vessels, environmental programs, ethnic foods and games. This festival of fun has a very
large draw. A large group of participants are looking forward to coming to this year's
festival by boat. |

In Water Boat Show- Marine Manufacturers Association in water boat show. |
FUTURE EVENTS
Boating Safety Weekend with boat inspections, safety equipment displays and rescue demonstrations by the U.S. Coast Guard, New Jersey Marine Police, New York City Marine Unit, Jersey City Fire Department and the Port Authority Emergency Services Unit.
